SMK Mambau (formerly SM Mambau) is an high school or secondary school which was opened in 1990. The location for this school is within the districts of Seremban and Port Dickson in Negeri Sembilan. The school had awarded the gold medal for 2006 National Cooking Contest which was held in Sarawak.

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaaan Mambau (SMK Mambau) was opened on December 1989. This school was built within a 23 hectors compound with a budget of RM2.1 million. Initially, SMK Mambau started as B-grade school compromises of only 163 students. Significant changes and progression in all aspects started in 2001 under the helm of its principal Pn. Mariah Noor Hj Yem.
SMK Mambau is situated within a district of Port Dickson and Seremban. Most students of SMK Mambau consists of local residents within Kampung Baru Mambau, Kampung Batu Tiga, Kampung Mantau, Taman Angsamas, Taman Kelab Tunku,Taman Seri Mambau Kampung (village) Bemban and Bandar Baru Spring Hills. Pre-2001 witnessed SMK Mambau lacking of basic amenities and infrastructure. By then, SMK Mambau compromises only on 5 building blocks, science labs and workshop on Living Skills. With no plans being carried out to beautify the school compound at that time worsen the situation more. Post-2001 witness many significant changes in various areas namely academics, co-curriculum and the school management itself. To date, it has won many awards at district, state and national level. One of its significant achievement is to be crowned as 1st runner up of The Nation's Most Promising Schools (Anugerah Sekolah Harapan Negara) held in conjunction of Teacher's Day on the 16 May 2007 at Persada Johor, Johor Bahru.
